The Office Lounge - Rye

We found this place after a search on yelp. We were looking for sushi and some other Friday foods. The menu looked very good and we got there and it was a very interesting place with couches and TVs and a bar area. The staff was very friendly and we met the owner. We are able to bring our dog with us and had a wonderful birthday night.

The waitstaff especially Lilly do a great job and male guests feel welcome. The food was excellent and a great value for the money compared to the overpriced restaurants in town Portsmouth Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian options and gluten-free as well for those who need them Parking: Plenty of free parking unlike downtown Portsmouth. Service: Dine in

Food, drinks, and atmosphere was lovely. However service was incredibly slow. From ordering to receiving food was over an hour, and we were the only table in the restaurant. Server was friendly. But did bring over a second drink without asking if we wanted another, which we didn’t. We informed them we didn’t want it but they didn’t take it away and charged us. Probably a nice place to grab a drink at the bar, but wouldn’t recommend dining as the service was slow and not the best.

Sushi is good. The best for S.NH but for the price it should be even better. Take a drive to Portland and visit Mr Tuna for cheaper and better sushi or Cafe Sushi in Cambridge MA.
