Fantastic dinner experience. The food was delicious, the waitress was fantastic with our children and meals were served promptly. Will definitely visit again if we make our way back to Russell in the future. Also a very comprehensive menu, something for everyone! WE really enjoyed the food, best kumara fries and we've had plenty. The sea view out the front is a real treat. Battered gurnard was fresh crisp, gluten free if that matters and not too oily. Pana cotta with mango ice cream was great and not too sweet. This was off season so service was quick. I hope they can keep this standard going. Looking forward to going back when we can. Everything we had for breakfast (big breakfast, salmon eggs Benedict etc) was cooked to perfection.
