Awful customer service, was like we were invisible. Worse still witnessed 4 members of staff gang up, intimidate and bully a lady who was complaining in front of her child. Was shocking. They were horrible. Obviously a franchise and the staff were not enjoying their jobs. Don’t go there, avoid!
So we decided to stop and order at Kaspa’s, the service and food was fine. But we wanted to raise a point that the staff where working behind the counter and the manager (lady without uniform on), it’s believed her name is ‘Ellie’, threw a pancake at a member of staff and was shouting at her two colleagues. It made everyone in the shop feel uncomfortable, including the ‘Uber eats driver’ So yeah, Ellie! Stop! Bullying! Your! Staff!
We were unable to try the desserts at this restaurant because the staff were so rude that we decided to leave before placing an order. After waiting for a table and receiving no service, I approached the counter and was told that I needed to wear a mask. Despite expressing that I wanted to eat in and did not believe a mask was necessary for this, the staff member ignored me and turned her back. Even when my daughter tried to speak with her, she still refused to acknowledge us. After waiting a few more minutes, we ultimately left as it was not a pleasant experience.
Honestly, if you have a sweet tooth, Kaspas is the place for you. They have a large selection of sweets and beverages so you can never be disappointed. The decoration in this shop is also amazing, gives you the vibes of a refurbished American diner. The only downside is that staff often forget if you have requested for extra/removed toppings on waffles and crepes.
