Lockhart's Bbq - Royal Oak

The atmosphere was amazing! The music was jamming and not to loud. The drinks were very very good! Our server was very nice and helpful. The good was so very very good!! Chicken was juicy. The ribs were fall off the bone good. The Mac n cheese was out of this world amazing!! The brisket was so tender and juicy!! When we go back to Detroit it's a must have again!!

My daughter and son took me here for Mother’s Day dinner. Because we all love barbecue. The server was very nice and pleasant. We ordered our food and drinks. They all ordered the 2 meat platters. My husband the Mac n cheese with brisket on it. All of them complained that the brisket was dry and tough. My husband said the Mac n cheese tasted watered down and the same dry brisket. I had the burnt ends and sweet potato fries. Little heavy on the sauce on the ends but they were tasty. Very disappointing that a barbecue place has bad brisket. Not sure I would go back.

Kasie was an absolute pleasure of a server. We loved her. Food was spectacular, good portions and high quality. Can’t recommend this place enough! They have a lot of NA options including beer and mocktails. And I love when they give you those little wet naps to keep your paws clean. Also, prices are very reasonable!

I had the Spicy chicken sandwich....delicious.But I really loved the Ugly smoked gumbo..damn was it good.

Caesar salad was gritty. Ribs and Mac and Cheese were awesome.
