I typically shy away from crab cakes unless I'm in Maryland, but these were quite delightful. They were made with beautiful, lump crab meat and not overwhelmed by breading. The calamari was flavorful, and I appreciated the smaller sizes, which made them easier to chew. The dipping sauce was fantastic! My husband’s favorite was the duck; he really enjoyed the sweeter dipping sauce, while I preferred the spicier option. Both were delicious, though. The nachos offered some interesting flavors, but I was glad we had other options to choose from as well. The cheese plates were a real highlight—my favorite was the goat cheese spread on a baguette slice topped with dried cranberries. The baked brie was also excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. Shannon, the manager, even stopped by to check on us and ensure everything was to our liking. We’re looking forward to our next gathering for breakfast!
This restaurant offers excellent food and beautiful presentation, consistently delivering quality dishes. The pleasant atmosphere sets it apart from others in the area, making it worth a visit. It can get quite busy, which can lead to some challenges, as I experienced during a late breakfast the other day. However, I found it to be a relaxing spot, even amidst the crowd, and the food was well worth the wait—along with the coffee. Rowlett truly has a gem in this place, serving authentic cuisine that everyone should try!
