Rockstar Noodle House Tea

Tasted the freshness in the noodles and soups. Enjoyed the noodle soup even on a hot day, we finished our soups! Our first visit and we know we will be back.

I know this place is famous for its noodles, but since I wasn't very hungry, I opted for the green onion pancake. It turned out to be extremely authentic! I also tried their matcha milk lid, and it was absolutely delicious. I finished it so quickly that I forgot to take a picture! The milk lid layer was generous and had a perfectly savory sweetness that paired wonderfully with the matcha layer. The matcha itself struck the ideal balance of sweetness and wasn’t watered down at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their drinks, which are better than those at other tea shops. The staff was also very friendly! I will definitely be coming back for more!

The food is decent, but not worth the effort to make a special trip. The Rockstar Ramen tasted like buttered pasta.

We attempted to reorder our items, but the staff member claimed they were sold out, which didn’t make sense since they had just opened at 11:30 AM and we placed our order at 11:40. It would have been more reasonable for him to simply say the menu items weren’t available rather than giving such an illogical excuse. As a result, we had to order something else. After we placed our order, the staff member unexpectedly left the restaurant without saying a word. When he returned, we asked how long it would take to prepare our takeout, and he replied with a vague “soon.” We were shocked to see him handling a block of frozen noodles with his bare hands just before putting them into the pot. Seriously? In a food service role, using gloves or utensils like tongs is essential, especially during a pandemic. Our food was finished suspiciously quickly, and we discovered why once we sat down to eat. My friend had ordered the signature Rockstar Ramen, but the noodles were 80% inedible—hard and icy because they were undercooked. I can't fathom how the staff member didn’t check the noodles to ensure they were properly cooked. It felt like he was deliberately trying to ruin our experience. Throughout our time there, even after receiving our order, he never apologized or acknowledged the numerous inconveniences he caused us, showing a complete lack of professionalism. The audacity of this individual is astounding. Save yourself the trouble and choose a restaurant that prioritizes customer service and food safety.
