Garden Bistro - Rowland Heights

The ambiance was a bit noisy, though; it seemed like they try to fit in as many diners as possible. We were in a group of six and felt a little cramped, so I deducted one star for that. Additionally, parking was a bit challenging, so be prepared for that!

I had been searching for a good Hong Kong cafe in the area for a while, and this place did not disappoint. It's very kid-friendly, and the staff was extremely accommodating. They even have high chairs for the little ones. The atmosphere in the restaurant is engaging and keeps my child curious.

My wife loves this place, but I thought it was just okay. She told me about this place so long that we finally have the chance to check it. I forgot exactly what I ordered, but it didn't wake me up. I tried a bit of my wife's record and she's right, she was amazing. Would come back and try the many other things they wear. Parking can be tricky as they are so aware of many restaurants in this plaza that.

Food: 8/10. I ordered their pork chop baked tomato rice and it was bomb!!! The pork wasn't the best meat quality, but the flavors were some of the best I've had for this classic HK dish. It was so addictive would definitely recommend. My partner ordered the steak lobster combo, and for the price you can't really beat it! We also ordered the borscht, and the flavors were authentic but it didn't come out hot it was kinda warm and cooled down quickly, which was a little disappointing. Service: typical HK cafe service don't expect them to be attentive and you might have to wave them down, but they'll get your order and serve you efficiently. Ambiance: it's definitely got a more western feel to it compared to some other HK cafes, but seating and spacing between tables were comfortable.Overall, I had a good experience and will be returning to try more dishes.

Veggies help to balance out any heaviness and the gravy is tasty. Pass on the mashed potatoes, they're bland for me. The side of pasta it comes with is tangier and less sweet than the baked pork chop one.Duck hoisin pizzaWowowwow. This dish is insane. If you like sweet and salty, you'll love this! First you get the salty mozzarella, then the sweet hoisin sauce, followed by the rich duck, and finally is lightened up with the brightness of the arugula. Literally a full circle dish. Get this if you wanna go on a taste bud ride. Borscht So yummy for $2.5!!!! Flavorful and light !
