Great service from a employee who i believed was named Lucas, who was just a teenager but held a real conversation making the time fly while my pizza was freshly prepared.
What can I say.... it's a busy place = a popular eating place for takeaway pizzas = a good reputation. The menu is great - a wide variety of fillings / toppings to choose from, and good proportion sized pizzas (on display on the wall behind the serving counter) too. It's always good to visually see the size of the pizzas too before buying as XL, L, M and S can be confusing - as I once found out when I bought a pizza in Stroudsburg Pa, USA which was classed as 'large' and should really have been classed as 'family of 6 adults' - impossible to eat half of it - I did try to eat it all, but sadly failed....The keen staff were very friendly, helpful (and patient) as they assisted us with our ordering, and were also good to show us the portion size for the garlic bread, thank you. It was also good to see the pizza bases being made by hand sculpted by a very skilled worker (young male wearing glasses - well done matey) who was kept busy with numerous of customer orders. We were informed that our order would take around 15 minutes or so, so we walked around the area checking out other eating options for future visits as we walked. On our return, and after a further 5 minutes (probably 15 - 20 minutes wait in total) we were informed that our order was ready, so we paid and left with nice hot, well packaged food to take home to nearby Quakers Hill.We opened the packaging and then ate our food - which was delicious, tasty and had plenty of filling on the pizzas, we all enjoyed our tasty, well prepared food.I was the only person with one small gripe, that being the pizza and garlic bread could have benefited from another 3 or so minutes being cooked to ensure crisp pizza base and bread crusts, as (I thought) the pizza base and garlic bread were a wee bit on the 'soft' side. This may just be a 'one-off' occurrence, probably on another day everything would be perfect - even for me. So, overall a well enjoyed Pizza experience - Thanks to Jimmy's Gourmet Pizzas.
No exaggeration in saying worst pizzas ever eaten. When I ordered was informed they had ran out of pepperoni (it's a pizza restaurant?!!), compensated with an extra undertook garlic bread. Ordered 2 pizzas, a Super Supreme and Mexicana. Both had almost zero tomato paste (which is usually an expensive ingredient so they are being cheap). The Hot Mexicana had nothing Mexican about it, tasted like cardboard with zero taste, apart from burnt chilli flakes. The Super Supreme was marginally better, but because of no tomato paste it tasted of almost nothing. And was raw in the middle. Accompanied by 2 undercooked garlic breads. Threw out the $45 dinner. Phoned the restaurant to just pass the feedback that they were the worst pizzas ever eaten and the reply was 'oh, ok, never received a call like this before'So disappointed. At least the soft drink that came with it was nice!
Best pizza's around. I'll always go back there. Good job! I'll never eat the rubbishy pizza at the standard chains ever again.
Love Jimmy's. Great Pizza. Best I have had from a pizza joint. We love it. Great quality and consistency too.
