This was our first night out to eat, and my cousin took me here because she thought it would be a cool experience. Firstly, this place is massive, with several dining areas that can host events or parties ranging from 40 to 300 guests, and even up to 1,400 in their hotel facility. It’s a brewery with an impressive selection, including six of their own beers along with a few others from around the world—though they may have added more since our visit. As you enter, you are greeted by a wall of kegs that makes for a great selfie backdrop, which we absolutely took advantage of. However, after that, things got a bit confusing when trying to figure out where to order and where to sit. The setup requires you to walk around and check out the different menus and offerings, which provides a lot of space to explore; I wandered around for about 30 minutes before making my decision. Some stations are dedicated to specific items, like one for beer on tap and another for dessert. I opted for the T-bone steak, which was sizable and paired simply with a baked potato. While the presentation could have been improved, the steak itself was cooked to perfection—juicy and well-seasoned. I found myself wishing for some rice to soak up the delicious juices left on my plate. My wife ordered a regular burger, which she enjoyed as well. We also shared the fish and chips that my cousin ordered for her husband; while it wasn't particularly standout, it was tasty. We were seated in the Bistro, which is the main hub and tends to be where most people gather. We found a table for the four of us but had to wait a bit longer than expected for chairs. When the buzzer finally went off, we were relieved to get settled. The Sports Lounge features a massive high-definition LED screen surrounded by smaller screens, ensuring that any sports event is on display. It wasn’t too noisy when we were there, but I can imagine it could get quite loud during peak times. Be sure to explore other areas as well. Kids are welcome in Playland, where they can run around and burn off energy, although it does get quite loud. The Sky Lounge has its own bar and overlooks the Sports Bar, making it a great spot for meetings. If you’re looking for a space with high ceilings and an indoor garden bathed in natural light, the Atrium is perfect for baby showers and small personal events. During happy hour, drinks are just $5.00, and from Monday to Friday between 11am and 3pm, you can take advantage of $15.00 lunch specials that include their Core Range brews. Overall, I think this is a fantastic place to visit, offering so much. The Australian Brewery can be the perfect venue for many events with great food that helps create special moments. We certainly enjoyed our experience!
The quality of the service has declined significantly; for instance, they no longer serve their beer in stone mugs!
This is a great place to visit with kids, as there’s a playground for them to enjoy. The food is tasty, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is nice as well. We've been there before and had a good experience.
I had a standard Belgian waffle, which was delicious on its own, but I was pleasantly surprised that it only cost $8. It's a great spot for dinner and drinks with family or friends if you're in the area.
