Santiago's Tex-mex And Cantina

My sister and I came on Taco Tuesday. We have been here a few times recently. I had a great experience on Sundays and Mondays so far. I don 't think I will be back on Tuesdays. The food was definitely mediocre and it was a bit disappointing. The fried ice cream: the corn flakes were not crunchy but soggy and hard to chew. I have experienced fried ice cream before and know it was not fried fresh probably refrozen. The tacos: were ok. Too much lettuce to where it was making the crunchy Shells soggy. Chicken was not very flavorful... get ground beef or just don 't get the special on Taco Tuesday .The service: The waitress, checked on us frequently, but the service wasnt anything stellar. When it came to questions or we disliked something, it was irritating for her. I definitely understand as we do not like to take things back but had to.This will not stop us from coming, because of the great service and food we 've had before, but we will be mindful of the days with best service and come frequently on those days.

Bland food, watered down drinks, served me one taco and charged me for two!Bartender needs a new job cleaning toilets. Management is a total failure here. Just go Mesa Rosa or eat at the tire shop next door for a better experience! This place is a true kitchen nightmare! Canned food and watery drinks..... ZERO stars!!Food: 1/5

Stay away used to be good but now using cheaper ingredients and misleading on pricing terrible customer service waiters continue to make errors on the order and the manager was rude

Restaurant is not child friendly. They didn't have teaspoons for the kids. The Enchiladas with Chili con Carne had no Carne, false advertising there but the sauce was tasty. Wait staff was nice but not very attentive but maybe still training.Food: 3/5

I like this place. My daughter and I went for lunch one day. Her enchiladas were made wrong. We didn’t say anything, though and she ate them. But our waitress noticed and sent my daughter home with the correct order for no charge. It was a kind gesture. I wasn’t crazy about the fried ice cream but I think I may be growing out of it. I’ll have to try the margaritas but I bet they’re good.
