The Bull Inn - Rother

We had a fantastic New Year's experience at the Bull Inn thanks to the welcoming owner and attentive staff. Our room was well-appointed with a cozy bed and a charming view of the bustling high street. The food we tried was delicious and served in generous portions. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

An absolute shambles we waited. 1 1/2 hours for our food to arrive I had the turkey it was a small plate, only three turkey slices,no stuffing, it was warm , roast potatoes over done and hard , and the Brussel sprouts few to number were rock hard altogether a small plate if food, other people in our group had similar plates. We are a small group that suffer from Parkinson's any additional stress adds to our Tremors most of my party were disappointed

Don't bother! What a disappointment. Had Welsh Rarebit, didn't taste like cheese as it was so mild.

The restaurant is charming with friendly staff. The food was hot and abundant, and the drinks were standard. We stopped in for lunch while visiting Battle for the day. The atmosphere was nice all around.

Great afternoon meal, stopped here after not being able to find somewhere for a meal. Good selection of food, wife has chicken Caesar salad
