Uncle Jack's On Canton Street - Roswell

We had a reservation at 7 and they told us it would be 45 min. Wait. We ended up having to sit at two different tables. They didn't bring our salads and the food was jus ok even tho the prices are high.

Uncle Jack's always has good tasting steak. Unfortunately, they are frequently out of items and the service seems a bit average. Their bar is stocked with very good quality liquor, although the bartender didn't quite know how to make my drink. It was a bit sweet. We had reservations for a table but were seated in the bar area. Our server was forgetful and the overall service not what you would expect for the price. I tried to order a bottle of wine, but everything I ordered was out. We finally found a bottle that was okay, and the bar manager did discount it. Tried to order Kobe as an appetizer. It was out of stock. Settled on Wagyu that was okay, but not Kobe. We did have bone in 35 day tomahawks that were delicious. Spent $700 for three people. It wasn't a $700 meal.

Service was slow for a restaurant that was relatively empty. Waiter was very friendly and did what she could but kitchen was slow. Food came out cold in some cases though the quality was good, the temperature was not

For such a great location they are really missing the mark with the food. All the steaks were overcooked (twice), simple requests for condiments on the side were not done, drinks took 15 minutes to receive. Our waitress was great, the manager not so much.

My parents and I decided to try this restaurant one day while we were walking around Canton Street. Upon arrival, we were told that there would be a few minutes wait and to seat ourselves in the waiting area. We waited and waited and finally my husband went to the hostess stand to ask when we might be seated. She said they were looking for us, which was odd since we sat where they told us to wait. In any case, we then were seated at a table outside. It took a few minutes for them to take our order but the server seemed nice. 1 1/2 hours later we were finally served our food. This was after we repeatedly asked when the food would be coming and even spoke to a woman who was the manager. The food was ok nothing great. We cannot say that we had a very good experience nor would we recommend this restaurant to anyone.
