1920 Tavern - Roswell

Went June 2022. This street is littered with restaurants all within walking distance. Paid parking lot and some street parking available. For browsers most of the restaurants have their menus posted outside for review. Went here based on the menu selection and reviews. Seated promptly without a reservation. Nice decor! Our waiter was very attentive. This place has some outdoor seating, bar seating in the front area and quieter dining area in the back forlarger groups. I got the southern fried chicken dinner $27 2 pieces of French cut fried chicken, 1 cornbread, mashed potatoes, green beans and delicious white gravy. It was DELICIOUS. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Fordessert I got the fried cheesecake (nothing special). Overall, a good find!

Had dinner with my wife on a rainy Friday night. Parking was a bit of a pain but our evening was awesome. Great food, service and atmosphere. Downtown Roswell is super cool and 1920 was great. We will be back. Blue Crab and Shrimp dip to start, I had Pasta and my wife had Trout. Everything was great.

Great appetizer and dessert. The entrées were ok for the price. The salad was very good as well. My entrée was Luke warm so that was not great.

We were dining out to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this restaurant came highly recommended. We arrived early for a 6:30 evening reservation for which I’m thankful with regards to parking in historic Roswell. The hostess seated us promptly and we were politely greeted by Reggie our server. He was fantastic! Reggie assisted us with great entree recommendations and our cocktail questions. We split the tavern salad, which we loved. My wife had the salmon teriyaki stir fry and I had the paella for entrees. Both were delicious. We plan on returning to here again and sampling additional appetizers as well as asking for Reggie to assist us in our efforts again.

Food was delicious and service was great. It was our first time we will be back for sure, so many options on the menu to try.
