Star Of India Authentic Indian Takeaway

Once again, we had an incredible meal from The Star. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. We are slowly trying everything on the menu and enjoying every bite. Cheers!

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday and found it to be a bit quiet. Coming from India, we have high standards for Indian cuisine. The food here was decent, the service was satisfactory, and the prices were average. The problem lies with TripAdvisor, as a 3-star review may seem negative but it's not necessarily bad. Not every place can be a 5-star establishment, and being average is not a negative thing. There are better restaurants out there, as well as worse ones. Give it a try and see for yourself.

We came here for a girls' catch up and had a nice corner to ourselves for 12 ladies. We were greeted warmly at the door and promptly served drinks. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with a wide range of options from mild to hot. The drinks were great too. This was my third visit, having previously come for my Christmas party in 2017 and winning a Valentine's Day competition. Everyone had a fantastic night and we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a great meal from here and usually delivered quickly even in busy periods. The star of India special is definitely one to be tried.

This takeaway offers great value for money and excellent range of tasty food. Delivery service is prompt and we've never been let down. Despite lots of choice for Indian restaurants in the area this is our go to takeaway.
