Not only did Charlie make us feel super comfortable, they were quick to let us know about any substitutions and also asked if we had any questions about the menu. 100%deserved their 45$ tip, because high schoolers aren't exactly sure on how much is appropriate to tip.
I had,.. hah fooled you! I had a burger! Yes they serve more than pancakes. The burger was good too. The onion rings and milkshake were a good as well. The staff were attentive and courteous. We stayed for quite a while and they never made us feelrushed.
Amazing brunch. Got a bacon burger with a side of (the crispiest I've ever had, with perfect soft interiors) onion rings with a side of hash browns. The hash browns have an almost buttery taste that was simply amazing, perfect golden crisp on the top butperfect and soft on the bottom. The burger was really good. Not a lot of restaurants really have too much flavoring to thepatty itself, but this was pretty good. Naturally the bacon on the burger (being served by a breakfast diner) was crispy andflavorful. Don't ask me why, but the manager himself served and waited our table, and it was excellent service. When even themanager does an amazing job serving and waiting you know the staff are good. The place was noisy, but it was a Saturday morningso that's to be expected. On a side note, they offer mountain dew. I don't really see a lot of places offer that. Admittedly Iwas skeptical since I rarely (if ever) eat at IHOP, but it was a lovely surprise. If you're in the area, stop by. Edit07/03 Went back again today and had the buttermilk pancakes and a side of hash browns and it's some real good stuff
The Wonka menu drew us in, but the experience was awful. We were seated and waited 15 minutes until i got up and asked for our waitress. Waited another 5 minutes and finally ordered. My daughter ordered the displayed pumpkin pancakes (the display is on all the tables). i ordered the Wonka chocolate tacos. The waitress came back and said they didn 't have pumpkin pancakes anymore. My daughter ordered the classic Benedict. Waited another 15 minutes for only my daughter 's Benedict to come out. A different waitress questioned the one plate, i told her we had other plates in our order. She went back to the kitchen and then told us they were just starting my chocolate tacos. My daughters eggs were hard boiled, not soft, and there was hardly any sauce. The table next to us who waited an ungodly amount of time for two small plates of pancakes found a hair in their overcooked pancakes and got up and left. By this time, i still haven 't gotten my food, but my daughter is finished with hers. We get up to talk to the manager (who was very sweet and comped the bill) and pay for my daughter 's plate. The manager tells us we can take the now ready food to go, and we did. When we got home and finally tried the chocolate tacos, they were horrible! The cream cheese filling was gritty and tasted off, and the chocolate pancakes were chewy and didn 't taste at all like chocolate. If you 're understaffed, then say so. They were seating tables like they were operating at full staff when they were obviously understaffed.
I came into IHOP to eat early morning and my waitress was so incredibly attentive. She was easy to talk to and made sure she was always checking in with us... I think her name was Kiara ... Excellent service and conversation you have a die hard regular for your section... She should definitely get a bonus for Christmas.Food was hot and everything was provided before asking ten out of ten.Ambiance was IHOP , delicious.
