Nuoc Mia Vien Dong - Rosemead

The real highlight of Nuoc Mia Vie Dong is their specialty: the sugar cane juice. The sugar canes are pressed fresh on-site, and the juice is blended with kumquat to balance out the sweetness. The addition of kumquat gives the juice a refreshing taste. They offer three sizes for the nuoc mía, with the option to add ice. I usually go for the small size with ice (about 10 oz), which only fills the cup halfway due to the ice. This drink is perfect for warm summer afternoons and serves as a healthier alternative to milk tea or coffee, both of which are also available in the same plaza.

Open daily except for Mondays... The food is excellent!

I really enjoy the food here. It's rich in culture and absolutely delicious. I'm a big fan of the crispy salted shrimp—they're incredible! I love everything served in the bowls. The dishes come with either rice or noodles, and just a heads-up: the green tea is on the sweeter side.
