フィードバックを提供するThe food is decent at this restaurant. I wish it were cheaper considering the size of the subs, but that's not a major issue. I have been coming to this location for the past year and used to love it. Although I am closer to the West Orange location, I started coming here for the service and atmosphere. There is a young Hispanic kid named Fred who makes the best subs and is always accommodating. This was very refreshing as I usually go in at night and some workers tend to have attitudes. The tall kid with glasses is always quick, and the big black guy with the slight fro is always positive. Everyone there is great, even the new faces. I haven't seen the usual general manager, Jude, in a while, and I believe that's where my issues lie. Jude was always kind and ran a good shift with workers who respected him. Lately, there have been issues with placing mobile orders past 7:45/8pm and there are fewer people on shifts, so things take longer. There has also been a less cohesive feeling lately, like no one wants to be there. The new boss is trying, but he has big shoes to fill in my opinion. He doesn't move the way I've become accustomed to, and he's not as charismatic as Jude. He seems scripted and disingenuous in how he interacts with people. I hope things return to how they were, or I'll just stick to the West Orange location for convenience. I have never left a review before, but to see a store that I have grown to love start to slip like this is heartbreaking, and I hope this helps in some way. Hopefully, things get back to how they were, and the staff start working regularly again.
My first visit to Jersey Mike's was disappointing. The store was unclean, especially the sandwich making area. The service was terrible, with employees arguing while making sandwiches. The cashier even used a dirty knife to cut my sandwich and handled money without changing gloves. I should have known better than to continue with my order. The health department should inspect this location immediately. I will never return and hope management addresses these issues. I regret settling for such poor food safety standards.
I had a great experience at this neat and tidy restaurant, thanks to the friendly counter staff. The sandwich I ordered was absolutely delicious! They even assisted me in logging on and downloading their Jersey Mike app onto my phone. I left feeling very satisfied with both the service and the food.
Worst Jersey Mikes experience yet. Skimpy on the meat and charged for a more expensive (13 vs 11) sub than what I ordered. Would not return to this unit. They give the franchise a bad name.
Great subs if the prices weren't so high, I would give more often. $10 for a sub is a lot
