If you 're looking for perhaps the friendliest winery in the area, look no further. I was hoste here along with a group of 19 other wine writers, and it was one of the highlights of my visit to the region. This small, unassuming family winery screams down home hippie! from the rooftops. Two adorable dogs welcomed our group, and we were shown to a large outdoor covered seating area on soft grass. The winery holds lots of events, and I would love to return and attend one, because they sound amazing for example: a tie dye party with a Janis Joplin lookalike who performed all her classic hits . Owners Jim and Terri Delfino are the cutest couple you will ever meet. So sweet, and absoutely stellar hosts. You can tell they are very proud of what they 've done and what they do. Their charming winery reflects every ounce of their charm. I tasted 11 ! of their wines, from the Dolcetto to the Mezzo Mezzo cabernet and merlot blend , and the two standouts for me were the Tempranillo and the Forza dessert wine. Both had lovely fruit, and would be nice casual sippers. Most of the wines are priced in the mid-$30 range, which is a bit on the higher side. While the wines weren 't among my favorites of my trip to the region, the hospitality at Delfino was the best of the best. I highly recommend this winery as a jumping off point if you are in the Roseburg area and want to get your feet wet sampling Oregon wines in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Friendly staff, great service, nice camping area for Harvest Host guests. Loved the wine and variety. Weekly Saturday events.
Great wine in a rustic setting. The tasting room manager was delightful as she helped us find the perfect bottle of wine to enjoy on the grounds. The owner stopped by to say hi. It's just an all-around great place to enjoy wine.
We had the best time at Delfino Vineyards B B. Hosts Terri and Jim are wonderful and so accommodating. We enjoyed our coffee out overlooking their beautiful pond before returning to the cottage for homemade pastry breakfast each morning. The cottage is located on their beautiful estate and it was beyond peaceful. It is close to so many other wineries too so it really was the perfect choice for our wine tasting weekend. The hot tub and lap pool were a huge plus! You're just steps away from the Delfino tasting room too. Don't forget to grab a bottle (or three) of the Zinfandel Rose to enjoy on the property. We can't wait to come back! -Elaine Adam
