The 2 is only because the 2 ladies there were very nice and friendly. The food and drinks were severely overpriced and maybe a step above fast food. In between over priced parking food drinks and coffee not worth it!

If you’re like me and you stay at Marriott properties because you have certain expectations of your hotel stay, then please read this review. I was very disappointed in this hotel. I picked it for its location as well as being a Marriott brand, but it did not meet Marriott standards. While it’s had some updates it’s mostly lipstick on a pig. I also believe they false advertised as there is no restaurant in the hotel other than a Starbucks morning coffee kiosk basically. I picked the hotel so I could have a restaurant, get food and a cocktail. I do not want to have to walk to Smokey bones or red lobster to go to a restaurant when it clearly stated it had a restaurant. There was no safe in the room which makes me uncomfortable. There was no housekeeping so they are still using the Covid mantra to avoid housekeeping. There was no Keurig in the room just those cheap little coffee trays. And coffee in the lobby is not free. Perhaps worst of all was I did not sleep well because the highway is so loud. I was on the fourth floor and the traffic from the highway really disturbed my sleep. Also when I crawled into bed, the pillowcase was dirty with makeup which creeped me out further. Did they change the sheets? I paid $100 more a night in picking this hotel because I assumed it would be up to Marriott standards. Expensive and not worth it.

We stayed only one night but found the staff helpful and friendly and the room comfortable and clean. There was no hot breakfast available and the bistro was closed unfortunately. They did have bagels, muffins and a few other items on a table that you could buy but that was it. I was disappointed to find no hot breakfast could be bought. The location was convenient and the room quiet.

After a short stay in Manhattan, my Breeze flight home from Islip was cancelled. I decided to stay in Ronkonkoma and go to La Guardia the next morning to catch a flight home. Needless to say, I was not in the best of moods. The Courtyard staff was excellent! The room was clean and very large. The bed was extremely comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. I got a discount from Smokey Bones as a Marriott guest and the restaurant was a very short walk across a parking lot away. It's also a short walk (9 minutes) to the train station. I highly recommend this excellent staff and hotel!

This hotel direct you to go out and eat at the restaurants across the walkway. Your selection is Red Lobster or Smokey Bones, I am a vegan neither of the restaurants are a healthy choice to go dine. The hotel only have a market pantry. They need to have the hotel shuttle to take you to a nearby restaurant within a five mile radius. The location sucks and so does the hotel. The only positive thing I can say is the room is clean and has a microwave and refrigerator, you know why because you need to bring your own food to heat up in order to have a hot meal.
