Chili’s - Romeoville

The location is stunning! There are plenty of parking spaces, and it wasn't very crowded during dinner. The service was excellent and quick! The margaritas were fantastic, and I highly recommend trying the Deep Eddy. The food was also great; the mushroom burger was juicy and packed with ingredients. However, the chips didn't quite measure up—they lacked flavor. The red sauce that accompanied them was tasty, but we also ordered guacamole, which unfortunately wasn't fresh. I asked our server if it was made in-house or pre-packaged, but they weren't sure. The guacamole was definitely darker and had an uneven texture. Perhaps it was just an off day, but it's something to keep in mind when placing your order.

The food was excellent, except for the guacamole, which appeared to be lacking freshness. However, Emilia, our waitress, promptly addressed the issue and apologized for it, despite it not being her fault as it was sent out from the kitchen that way. Overall, the food was very good.

I usually don't have the best experience with service; it seems like the staff can be a bit short-handed. However, I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for a drink when you said it would arrive right away. The food is delicious, and the drinks are fantastic. The prices are reasonable, though sometimes they can be a bit high, but there are great deals available. I really appreciate the layout since I'm not sitting right next to another table. I particularly enjoy the fajitas, and everything I've tried has been great!
