El Maiz Venezuelan Street Food - Roma

The food was excellent to say little, the place was warm and comfortable and very short waiting times. Unfortunately there is only one totem to order which creates a bit of a row. The owner is very kind, overall a fantastic experience.

The food rasten amazing. The stagg were very friendly. The experience of having Venezuelan food for the first time was very exciting specially with the bread made of cornflour. The flavors were very well balanced and delicious. Plus it was very clean and the value of money was good.

Terrible experiencia !! Terrible bad experience ! If you are looking a place to eat some Venezuelan food and have a good time, definitely this is not the right place… the guy that apparently is the owner of the place, can not even take the time to explain you how is the process to order something as easy as AN EMPANADA! … in order to do that you should go an exterior machine (like in McDonalds sorry in McDonalds you can order at the desk as well … I was asking for the toilet, and the waiter told me there was not a toilet because is a take away place ! … but different than this there was a bar with 10 seats and people eating and drinking inside ; but not toilet to pee ! When I make my complain the guy said to me “what are you doing here” then I left the place … that was my answer, before that and the berry on the cake was : “each time you want to order something you have to go outside the place and order it with the freaking machine “ and you are not allowed to be complained about it… because he is not good with that .. my advice DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER … instead that you can take something whatever anywhere. P.S .. in Venezuela (Merida to be exactly which is the place that this people coming from you can get better food and better treatment.. empanadas with not sauce and super small for 6 € each !!!

The food was great, the staff very friendly and the system used to order the food was simple to use and very modern. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Cute little restaurant with delicious Venezuelan food, tasty beverages and amazing service! After 2 days in Rome, we decided to try something different from Italian food and didn’t regret it! The arepa Reina Pepiada and the cachapa were absolutely perfect
