Cronuts Donuts - Rogers

The cinnamon roll I got was nothing special it was kinda dry and not really raised much. Cinnabons are 10x better.

Look, on the rare occasion I get to eat a donut, I want to eat a REAL donut. That’s what this is. These aren’t bread pretending to be a donut, these aren’t “half preservatives and tastes like wax” donuts, these are REAL. If you want to blow your mind, eat the cronut because it’s the next evolution in donut technology.

I finally had the chance to visit the store today and shop in person instead of picking something out of a box someone else purchased. I must say I was very disappointed. The cro and do nut were good. The surprise came when I got to the register and the additional made to order item increased from $3.10 on the menu to over $6.50 at the register. Needless to say, I had that part of the order removed immediately. Owner/Manager gave me an explanation about prices on the menu not being correct notice was post on the door. I didn’t notice their notice. I’m soured on the shop now. I doubt I’ll return to be a repeat customer.

If you’ve never tried a cronut, it’s definitely worth a try. This is definitely a different tasting type of pastry. The layers of flakey dough and the outside feel of a regular doughnut. It’s goodness in the mouth.
