Kathy's Kolacke Pastry Shop

I came to your shop today (Weds) and purchased a number of items, 2 of which were a poppyseed and a nut roll for Thanksgiving deserts. We decided to have some this evening and boy was we disappointed! Both were stale, especially the nut roll as it broke apart like a cracker it was so dry. This was my second visit to your shop and the first time I was satisfied. I like to support local business when I can but to put that out for the holidays for your customers was very discouraging.Regards,Jim Greene Bay Village

This was the first time that I visited this quaint little bakery. Oh my gosh! This was so adorable in a really cute little town. The minute you walk in to this little shop the aroma overtakes you. You just want to stand for a while and inhale because it smells so delicious. The bakery was amazing. I ordered two of the nut kolacki, one cheese kolacki, a chocolate brownie, and a piece of cream cake. Everything was so delicious I definitely will be back for more. The kolacki we're very flaky and thick and so delicious, the brownie was more cake-like but was so scrumptious along with the chocolate thick fudge frosting. You definitely have to put this on your bucket list and go there for a little treat. There are a few tables where you can eat inside. The shop does sell coffee so this makes an excellent little spot to go for dessert or for coffee. The person who waited on me was very nice and very accommodating. I highly recommend this little shop.

Not open until 10 am and closed on the Sundays? How very disappointing. I was looking forward to poppy seed rolls and kolaches when I was in town for business. ?

I was very excited to try this shop but was beyond disappointed. I noticed that the woman who waited on me had a bit of an attitude when I walked in. She did not make me feel welcome, as if having a black customer was an issue. I should have walked out and went to Heinens across the street. Their service is impeccable and they treat everyone well- regardless of their skin tone.The appearance of the brownies and cakes did not look fresh to me and I asked more than once whether they were fresh…. They didn’t look it. The lady was quite irritated with me. Anyway I purchased a couple items. The Kolackes were good the brownies, bars and macadamia cookie were average. I do not recommend this shop.

Very dry and stale defiantly not made fresh everyday so sad in such a nice area
