Erie Island Coffee Iii - Rocky River

Food is very tasty and service is great. Atmosphere is the best. Coffee is decent, not amazing, but I am from Costa Rica so take that with a grain of salt.

I visited for the first time while in the area for a doctor's appointment. The barista was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I ordered a delicious coffee drink with a hint of chocolate oat milk, and the vegan oatmeal cookie was fantastic. The prices for other bakery items were reasonable as well. I would definitely visit again.

I ordered an espresso on Sunday, November 13, just before closing time, and it was unfortunately disappointing. It was overly burnt, and the beans weren’t ground to the proper size for an espresso. I have had good experiences with espresso at the downtown cafe, but this was not the case at the Ricky River location. I tried to call and leave feedback, but the phone number did not allow for messages, so I’m posting my review here instead. Regarding your response, I want to clarify that my mention of the barista's race is not relevant to my experience; I merely included it as a description. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The drive through will ask you to tip which really puts a person on the spot. To the owners please pay your employees a livable wage. I will not be coming back until that policy changes.

The place has a very welcoming atmosphere. It looked impeccably clean and smelled divined. The staff was attentive and worked wonderfully with one another. It’s always nice to see good team work at play. My caprice ciabatta and coffee were delicious and the apple galette was incredible! This is definitely a place I would recommend to my family and friends and encourage anyone to visit.
