Simple homemade meals. You get a lot for the price you pay! A bungalow, soup, duck and dessert is a price on their menu. They have a variety of seafood options and it looks as if they try to have at least one country (fangs, beef, etc) option available on the day. Meals are not much seasoned, but they give salt and pepper on the table, so you can season to taste. The couple that leads the place (I think) are very friendly and can tell you about the pictures on the wall.
Stumbled upon parsons and had a wonderful home cooked meal. If youre in rocky harbour make sure to drop in.
Parsons was a great discovery! After a busy day when we visited the Gros Morne National Park, we passed this place and decided to stop to ask about their house style meals, including Lobster and we decided to stay for dinner. It was the best dinner/sea we had in Gros Morne. The restaurant is not unusual, but it is really cozy, with beautiful ambience, great pictures and an amazing and friendly service. We ordered fish and Lobster and the owner even helped us to eat the Lobster with a personal style! Hahaha Meals included a Entrée and a dessert with option for coffee or tea for less than $100cad (2 people) tip included! We recommend this place for the amazing food, the ambience and service!
First dining experience in Newfoundland. Had a very home cooked feel. Tasty.
