Uncle Nick's - Rockford

The gyro at this restaurant is excellent. The meat is well seasoned and comes with plenty of sauce. The fries, or Pommes, were also delicious. Normally I'm not a fan of fries, but these ones stand out compared to others. My wife always orders her gyro with everything separate, and the staff wraps it all individually with a smile. The customer service here is top-notch, with great attention to special requests.

The food at this restaurant is delicious! It may not be considered 5-star quality, but we absolutely loved it. The Italian beef is fantastic and very satisfying for a reasonable price. The burgers are also fantastic. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I may be biased, but I absolutely love the Gyros at Uncle Nick's. My pro tip: get extra so you can enjoy them even more the next day, if you have any left!

I went to one west of downtown and because of the location there were no legions of hobby enthusiasts around, so I didn't get the complete Uncle Nick's experience. The food was great as always

This Rockford staple has served the area for over 50+ years! The downtown location actually brings your food to your car. It's a fun experience that brings back the 1960 era without the roller skates! Have fun
