Lucha Cantina Rockford

The weather was perfect for dining on the patio! The service was prompt and friendly, and I enjoyed the blackened fish tacos for their fantastic flavor.

Love me some Lucha! I dine here often and have never had a bad experience. The food is tasty, and they give you a generous portion. My personal favorites are the blackened salmon salad, the carnitas tacos, and the Rio Grande bowl. The margaritas are simply to die for, especially the Natural made with fresh squeezed lime juice. The service is very friendly and professional. Whether you dine in or carry out, you can’t go wrong with Lucha Cantina

I visited Rockford Raceway today and was in search of vegan food nearby. I was disappointed to miss out on trying Pig Minds but after a quick Google search, I came across Lucha Cantina in the recommendations. This place was fantastic. They offer Daiya vegan cheese and have cozy outdoor seating with string lights. My server, Jake, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. When I inquired about vegan options, he knew exactly what to recommend. I intended to take more photos but my phone was dead and I was too hungry. I really enjoyed the chips and wide selection of salsa. Additionally, I was able to pay with my phone, which I found to be very convenient and modern. I am looking forward to visiting again soon!

I ate Lucha Cantina twice in the last week because I was so impressed the first time. Their carry out was quick, easy, and delicious, and when we ate in the dining room, the food and service from Jake was awesome. I appreciate that they have amazing vegan food options. Definitely recommend!
