Pho Saigon Vietnamese Noodle - Rockdale

I have been to this restaurant say 3 - 4 times over the past 2 or so months and every time the food and service has been excellent. You can tell it is a good restaurant by the number of people in the restaurant. It is always crowded in comparison with its neighbours. The Beef Pho soup is the best I have tried as is the stuffed chicken wings (and most other dishes). The servings are very large and the price very reasonable. A great restaurant for lunch or dinner any day.

They have a great range of dishes. We had some dumplings and duck pancakes as an entree. Both were good but the duck was great. Had chicken and cashew dish which was ok but the sauce had an unusual flavour. The pork belly dish was really good as well. Service is quick and friendly. Was very busy on thursday night so it's doing it right.

As a Chef, I am fussy with my food. This little place is simply the best, it is my favority restaurant. Thank you so much for keeping the quality up over the years.

I came here for Pho because I had a craving and I ordered just that. It was a cold and rainy night, a bowl of hot and steamy Pho really hit the spot. It was not the best I've had, the soup lacked intensity but it wasn't bad. Since I was not expecting much I was actually quite pleased with what I got. Their menu also offered Thai, Malaysian and Chinese dishes...I don't think I have the need to branch out to order from those sections as I have other eateries in mind when I crave those cuisines. But for now, when I am in Rockdale and I have a need for Pho, this is where I will come.

If you are looking for a place to order takeaway or pick up then i would say that this place is more than sufficient. But if you want to go to a nice Vietnamese restaurant then this place is barley a bad Chinese restaurant. Staff were lazy and rude, menu leaned more to Chinese than Vietnamese. Just not a good atmosphere to spend money. I spent alot of money at this place, $185 for 6 people (and thats condidering this place doesn't serve alcohol) and the staff still treated us like a used condom on the bedroom floor.
