Texas Roadhouse - Rochester

I had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. The food was delicious, and our server was very friendly. However, I wish there had been better communication between the virtual waiting line and what our hostess informed us. The app indicated our table was ready, but we still had to wait. Despite that, the food was enjoyable, and my guests and I would definitely return!

This restaurant was a disappointment. My dad chose it to celebrate his birthday, and we were really let down by the service. The server was friendly but rather scatterbrained, and the food was just bad. If you're looking for a good steak, go to a proper steakhouse instead—CHAR would be a better option. The vegetables were tough and tasted freezer-burned, and they didn’t have the beer we wanted to order. The manager, Brandon, tried to be helpful but didn't really do anything for us; offering us a couple of extra bread rolls and a coupon for a future visit (as if we would want to return after this experience!) was just ridiculous. We also requested a birthday song, but that didn’t happen, and to top it off, a child at the table behind us cried loudly the entire time. Happy birthday, Dad! I just hope this awful place didn't ruin your special day!

Amazing food! I love their dinner rolls. Great customer service, great atmosphere. Great staff. One of the few decent family friendly places left. Did I mention that the food was great?! Will return for more. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed!Food: 5/5

We always have great service here, food is excellent. This time we brought our 18 month old son and it went great! He colored in the kids menu and enjoyed the general atmosphere. There were booster seats available, they brought his food out first and it went really smoothly. Not always easy taking a toddler out to eat but the staff really helped.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, booster seats, kids menu with crayons.

This is our preferred choice for steak dinners because of the reasonable prices, excellent service, and tasty food. Personally, I'm not very fond of the atmosphere; it's quite busy and noisy. Food: 5/5.
