Reggae Jamaica Bakery - Rochester

We tried the Curry Goat and the Oxtails from this restaurant. Both dishes were delicious. The Curry Goat was slow cooked and tender, making it very enjoyable. The Oxtails tasted good, but they could have been cooked a bit longer as they were tough and didn't easily come off the bone. We had to work a bit to get the meat out. Next time, I think I'll just order the Curry Goat. A slight issue was that both meals were supposed to come with a dumpling, but neither did. The online menu mentioned that each meal included a dumpling. Maybe next time? Overall, the food was tasty. The beans and rice were especially delicious, and the cabbage was as well. Thank you for cooking tonight so I didn't have to.

Ox tail needs browing n taste needs to be like before .. rice n bean and eve is yummy ..

Always amazing food!!! I enjoyed the large Oxtails meal and Beef Patty!!!! The best in town. Its always great when delivery matches the service as well. All the way fabulous!!! Tasty

I ordered the oxtail dinner and was disappointed by the lack of meat. Everything tasted delicious, but I expect to get what I pay for. Other than that, everything, including the cabbage, was great.

The beef loaf was incredible! The oxtails were generous, flavorful, and fresh, and the plantain dumplings were excellent. Absolutely delicious! 5 out of 5 stars.
