Hangar Grill - Rochester

Dinner with Mom and the family. No peanuts on the ground, but popcorn was available. Pretty standard sports bar with food, not too loud, not too dark, and I could relax. Steaks were decent (missed the Bearnaise, but at least I wasn't for what I didn't eat), but the show was stolen by the chicken tortilla soup. I am pleased to mention this place at work that someone has to wait until the Pesky O'Hare flights come.

So good we came here for lunch 2 days in a row. Fantastic fresh beers. Buffalo wings were terrific with blue cheese crumbles. They have free dog treats made from the brewer's spent grain our dogs loved them.

We had a great experience at Ground Round, which is conveniently located near the airport. Since our flight was delayed, we decided to relax there for a while. The service was very friendly, and we took advantage of the Happy Hour, enjoying the reduced prices on our orders.

Make sure to wear a parka if you visit this restaurant in winter... I'm serious. We requested the heat to be turned on, but the server informed us that the manager declined our request. Perhaps the experience is different in warmer weather, but I won’t find out because I have no intention of returning.

I had an amazing experience! The cheese curds were a standout dish, and I loved the variety of lemonade flavors available. Their happy hour specials are a big win for everyone. Honestly, the Piggly Wiggly Burger was fantastic—I might just order a double serving of cheese curds next time!
