Flavors Of Asia - Rochester

I have been dining at this restaurant for years and absolutely adore it.

I love that this restaurant has a dedicated vegan menu. As mentioned in a previous review, they are happy to accommodate requests for vegan versions of items on the regular menu. Our go-to orders are the fresh avocado spring rolls and the vegetable Pho, which is satisfying and generously portioned. I have tried other entrees and was pleased that they didn't taste like fish sauce, a common issue at Asian restaurants that has made me avoid them in the past. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is now our favorite spot for takeout.

Hit the place by chance! The Seafood Salad was absolutely amazing! Service was excellent, very kind, sweet and prompt! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu

My family loves this place! I've been here for years. My little girls LOVE the scourge of pancakes and dumplings. Always a fresh meal and the staff is so inviting!

Flavors of Asia was my favorite restaurant. That was back when it was the original owner and it won the best of Rochester a few times. Every time the owners changed, the food quality went a little down. Some owners later and the food is good, but not great. The service is always WONDERFUL! My youngest problem was with the hours. Two or three times I came for lunch and it's closed. I'm here at 12 noon and move on a locked door with a shield that says they open at 11:00. It also means they are closed from 3 4, reopening at 4. Today we showed up at 2:33 and they told me they were closed at 3 4. I thought, but it's not 3, it's not 2:55. It's not 2:45. It's not even 2:35. We drove from numerous restaurants to get there, just to turn around and get back to one we were going through. Unfortunately, this was the last wild geese hunt I wanted to leave. The service staff is GREAT! The food is good (not good). Management must bring it together.
