The Classic Cafe At Roanoke

My husband and I visited from England and stayed with friends who hadn't been to this restaurant before, so we decided to check it out. I must say, the service was exceptional! The staff gave us a warm welcome, and throughout our entire visit, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely incredible! There were five of us—four adults and a child—and we ordered a variety of dishes, including steaks, rack of lamb, pork, and salmon. Everyone enjoyed every bite. If I lived here, this would be my go-to place for special celebrations or just a treat. It was a fantastic experience, and thank you for making our evening so special!

My daughter wisely chose this restaurant to celebrate our recent retirement after a combined 60 years of working in education! We were in need of a special celebration, and Classic Cafe was the perfect spot. My wife enjoyed a steak along with a huge loaded potato, while I opted for a refreshing salad, vegetables, and dessert. The service was excellent, making for a wonderful evening. Everything was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend trying the dessert!

This has been my favorite restaurant since I moved away in 1997. The service is outstanding, starting with Curtis, who greets you at the door, and continuing with the attentive servers. Francis is also great at recommending wine pairings. The food is crafted with creativity and care by Chef Charles, using only the finest ingredients.

The best restaurant in the area!! The cook came to our table at least 3 times to make sure we liked everything. The general came by. More than the special treatment we felt as if we recited the food was amazing!!!

Classic vibe with excellent food and the staff treated us like family. Best steak and lobster I've had in a while. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items.
