Second Street Lunch - Roanoke Rapids

I grew up in Roanoke Rapids, and 2nd Street Luncheon was the go-to spot for dining. I recently visited again and, of course, had to stop in for a fully loaded burger. The chili was amazing and the coleslaw was the best I've ever had. They even still serve Kokes in glass bottles.

Just finished the best full dressed cheeseburger and chili cheese fries that I have had in years!! Will definitely be going back.

This family run restaurant is a gem. You will not leave disappointed after eating their hamburgers or hot dogs.

No longer looks like an old diner. Has had a face-lift. Very modern looking and comfortable.
