Tao Bistro - Riyadh

The service was good and eating was okay and the staff was super helpful when explaining what we can and not. the star of our teller options was the Okra salad! we have two orders after our first. it was so good. the wee leaf salad was not as exciting as my friend had told me, we suspect it is not vegan. we also had a Thai salate that needs a lot of work with the sauce and the seasons. the beet root hummus was also good, but something not so well seasoned. please look at adding vegan friendly arrangements. we had to decide unfortunately with ridden because of the lack of options. overall it was a mediocre experience, the friendly staff made our visit better not eat. also the inner of the place is divine.

The food was a bit pricey but delicious, I love how sunny this place is, perfect for morning time. Their system was down so it took the waiter about 10 minutes to give us our check, but they were nice enough to offer us complementary coffee. The one thing that would make this place even better is if they relocated or opened another branch in the center of Riyadh. The last thing to mention is that they have a section for singles.

Three stars for the atmosphere and the decoration only. Waiters are lousy and it took them about 10 min to get me the menu although it wasn’t crowded. Black coffee is ok, Egg Benedict was a total disaster.. covered with some kind of mayo sauce that took all over other flavors. Slow average service. A bit pricy for such food quality and lousy waiters.

I came here for breakfast, great environment, I like their Benedict Egg, but’s it’s too expensive with a small portion
