Gorgeous little homestyle bakery and restaurant. The ambiance is very warm and cosy with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent. We had the Greek salad sandwich which was delicious and the vegetarians will love the Vegepate plate (we had the Indian option, there's also Cajun). Pastries and coffee and hot vanilla milk were delicious too
Delicious artisanal boulangerie in RDL. there are some places that when you enter you get the feeling it's an awesome place. You don't want to be let down with mediocre or sub mediocrity in terms of food. This place really hit the mark. Like a total home run! Firstly it's a cracking good bakery with fresh artisanal bread. Secondly they do very high quality coffee. Thirdly they have sandwiches, soup and other great lunch items. My lunch I selected a seafood soup. It was rich, not salty and deliciously home made. Also as my ancestors must have come from the sea I had a Gaspesian smoked mackerel sandwich. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had in quite some time. Like blew my mind how good it was. It was tiny morsels of smoked fresh fish, thin apple slices. Shredded cabbage and a very nice light dressing. Holy macaroni it was amazing. I'd never think I'd have a smoked mackerel sandwich but I may try to replicate it at home. To round off the meal I ordered a capucinno and it was totally on point. Creamy. Piping hot and strong yet not bitter. To bring back to the grand ville I brought back two loaves of bread. Crispy, crunchy and soft in the centre. You would think a cafe like this would be in the Mille end Montreal or on Ave McGuire in QC or in SOHO in NYC but it's wonderfully amazing! When I Think of the options of coming here or eating at a place like St Hubert it's clear in my mind where I'd rather spend my money!
Good and fresh bread daily. Famous place for local people. They staff merely speak English but very welcome. The place is cute and relax. Also have free wifi. Good place for breakfast and quick bite meal . They serve sandwich , croissant , soup and coffee. My ham croissant is fantastic. I love the taste of their bread and fresh bake smell. The expresso is good. You will find lots of milk cream in cappuccino . Coffee bean is a little bit too much roasted. Will stop by at this place again if I come to this area.
