Star Donut - Riverside

This used to be a good place to buy donuts and one of the best breakfast burritos here in Riverside. It seems to have CLOSED tho. As of 4 /01/22, it looks like they went out of business or its under new ownership. Sad because ot was my to go place for breakfast burritos.

I know it's a Donut shop but if you never tried their breakfast burritos you're missing out! Hands down 1 of the BEST burritos I've ever tasted. I always call my order in I get the works! Bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo homestyle potatoes with their house made Chipotle sauce inside red sauce on the side. Their burritos are a nice hefty size too taste just like home.

First timer today. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito. It was like home made. I had to wait 20 minutes as there were two large orders ahead of me. Customers kept coming in. The donuts looked good. They sell acai bowls also. Call ahead!

Just okay. Moved close by and thought I would give this place a try since it is the closest. When I went in some of the donuts didn't have enough glaze so I just got 2 chocolate bars, 1 chocolate round and a croissant. The donuts were okay but had a almost burt oil or just oily taste. The croissant was also just alright, no flaky layers, just floppy (which is a shame because it did taste good just not a typical croissant). I hope it was maybe a bad day or just training a baker. I'll give it another chance eventually but I won't have my hopes high.

The maple bars are the most decadent I've ever had! So good! The breakfast burrito cannot be beat by anyone!! The customer service is impeccable, they are very very friendly. Great drink menu too! Please keep Up the great work!!
