Pepitos Mexican Restaurant - Riverside

I really enjoyed eating! Originally my group and I wanted to sit in the bar for a happy hour. the service was extremely slow in the bar area! it took 20 minutes to even get a waitress to us. my group and I decided to move inside! it was the best decision we made. much less noise and better service. we were greeted down within few seconds! everything was modern and we could hear without talking behind the noises. I really enjoyed eating and mango margarita! overall I would give him a 4 stars when they sit inside!

When we arrived, there were two police cars on the parking lot that blocked us from the parking lot. the service was slow and no specials for taco Tuesday plus the margaritas are $9.99 which is over price! we usually drive to el torito, but we wanted to try this restaurant. when we drove to our car, the car next to us had crushed the front window and the police said that she was a stabbing.

We were looking for a place to eat for the light festival. the food was good. chips and salsa were the bombs. we had shrimp fajitas, flat plate and a 3 article combo.... all very good. the best part was the service. the waitress was very attentive. she brewed us a fresh pot of dekaf. they've been checking us all the time, but not disturbing. my icy repeatedly filled. She was super nice. Too bad I didn't get her name. Parking was a bit difficult....Friday night lol. the bar music was a bit loud, because the connecting door would not close all the way. all in all, a very pleasant experience. would have been back!

Went to pepitos for the very first time on Valentine's. I honestly wasnt expecting amazing food from this establishment, because the outside appears dated. I was wrong, the food and service were 5 star all the way. We orderd the sante fe chicken egg roles and they blew us out of the water. Following our amazing appetizers I ordered the cardna asada with chimi churri sauce and my wife got the chicken fajitas. Both plates were amazing and earned us as customers. Our waitress informed us to try dinner on fridays nights because the serve fresh made tortillas with all meals. A true hidden gem in Riverside.

This restaurant serves the best Margaritas! It has a very casual atmosphere, with excellent service and delicious traditional Mexican dishes.
