We are from Michigan and were meeting relatives from the UK who were visiting other relatives in Chicago. We needed a place where we could chat and have a few drinks and Tucker's perfectly fit the bill. Thanks you!
A quaint little neighborhood bar. Service was friendly, and a daily special, will allow for some savings, if so inclined. Parking is available on the side of the building Similar to a small Cheers the location has many regulars in attendance. Prices were reasonable, Sound levels, nothing out of the expected. Onsite gambling machines are also available. Pretzels were offered on the bar, but I did not see any kitchen facilities I would return, largely due to the kind bartender.
This bar has a nice divey feel to it and wasn't too dirty. Stopped in to watch the last period of the hawks game and the TVs are pretty low def but the bartender was friendly enough. The folks at the bar got into an obnoxious political conversation/rant/yelling session and the bartender fed into it. I had to put my noise canceling headphones on for about 10 minutes.
DJ is a lot of fun karaoke is a blast bartender is great and they even have drink specials
