Hala Kahiki Tiki Lounge - River Grove

Ambiance is great, and the drinks are interesting. Decent NA drinks too, which isn 't always the case for places like this. However, I haven 't been back in years because the wait times can be insane AND the last time I went, the hostess was blatantly letting her friends, people she knew/liked, etc. skip the line. To be fair, they may have fixed this in the meantime, but I 'm not a person with a great deal of free time, so I haven 't been back to check. When stuff like this happens, the message I hear is we don 't respect your time; don 't bother coming here, so I don 't.

I used to come here years ago and was delited it was still in business. We had a couple drinks in the large hurricane glasses and couldnt remember much after that. The decorations were very good. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
