フィードバック
フィードバックを提供するThis was our first visit since the restaurant changed ownership. The appetizers were decent, which gave us some hope for the main courses. Unfortunately, reality hit when we tried our meals. My wife said her Mahi was okay, but my nephew's scallops didn't even resemble what we expected in size or shape, and he said they tasted off. My sister ordered the shaved beef sandwich, and it looked like it had been hastily prepared and then microwaved, resulting in a dried out appearance. I ordered the prime rib and specifically requested an end cut, making it clear that I didn't want it recooked, just served as is. However, it tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for three days and then put on the grill—definitely not appetizing. I couldn't eat it. The good part is that they did remove it from the bill.
We returned home to savor delicious food with friends from the area, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The dinner experience was fantastic! Our attentive and cheerful server didn’t rush us, allowing us to take our time catching up for several hours. Everyone in our group enjoyed the red wine and cocktails served. The food arrived hot and flavorful. Our favorites included the captain’s cut steak with sides, the fajita grill, the chicken salad, and the linguini Alfredo. Although there was a minor plumbing issue in the men's restroom, the facilities were clean. We will definitely return and highly recommend the restaurant's lovely, casual atmosphere!
I used to be a regular at this restaurant, but my experience has declined recently. The service has become inconsistent, and the atmosphere is very noisy, with no effort from management to encourage patrons to keep their voices down. I've heard that new ownership has led to higher prices accompanied by uneven food quality and service. On a positive note, they now have an outdoor seating area by the creek, but I can imagine it attracting flies and mosquitoes. I saw on Facebook that there was a recent incident where a staff member was accused of racism towards a patron. While I certainly do not condone that behavior, I was taken aback by the owner’s response, suggesting that "rednecks" and people from the Deep South are typically the ones acting this way and should stay away. That’s a no-go for me. Also, why have taco night when there’s a place like Riviera Maya next door? It would be great to see more creativity and a unique approach to their offerings.
This place may not look like much but. don't let its look deceive you. Great service never had to ask for a refill it jus appeared. food was excellent. Well worth it.
We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner (1:45pm). I had a 6oz filet mignon which was perfectly prepared and delicious. I am looking forward to returning in the near future.
