El Patio Grill - Rimrock

You have to check out this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, always attentive to our needs. The chef did a fantastic job; everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I'm sure Chef Ramsey would give it a thumbs up! The dining room was clean and had a fun atmosphere. It's a great spot for a nice date, to treat your staff, or just to hang out with friends. We had a wonderful time!

The flavor was excellent, but the service was just average, and the portion size was good. However, the shredded beef was too rare for my liking; all I could taste was raw meat (****). On the bright side, the tamale was outstanding! We were a bit taken aback to find that this was a small, cozy spot, accommodating maybe 15-20 people indoors and another 12-15 outside. Putting aside the issue with the raw beef, we will definitely give this place another try, opting for the ground beef next time.

The carne asada was quite good, but I would have preferred it cut into smaller pieces. This way, I could enjoy bites from my tacos without struggling to separate the steak. On the other hand, I wasn't a fan of the rice; the little dehydrated vegetables reminded me of instant Cup Noodles. I believe a few minor adjustments could significantly enhance the overall experience. I would definitely consider returning, but with a more moderate set of expectations.

I stopped in for a quick meal while traveling on the interstate. The server asked where we wanted to sit, and when we pointed to a booth next to the counter, she refused, saying it was too small. She then took us to a different table, making a fuss about it. The food was below average for a Mexican restaurant, and the atmosphere was uninspiring—it's right next to a gas station, and you can definitely tell. I hope they can improve their customer service and portion sizes; nobody wants a tostada loaded with 2 1/2 cups of beans and just a small pinch of meat.

I stumbled upon this great restaurant next to the I-17 freeway, and I'm really glad I did. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch.
