Wow, I’m so glad I stumbled upon this spot while searching for getaway locations in Virginia! It’s quickly become my new favorite place. Everything was absolutely amazing. John, Aliya, and Beau provided outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back soon! The food, atmosphere, accommodations, vibe, and service were all a perfect 10/10.

Our favorite server and the chef were both absent during our visit, which was disappointing. We ordered some beers, but were given the last few from the supply. The server struggled to reach across our large table to serve the drinks instead of coming around. We had a reservation at 4:45 and were only able to order drinks at 5:00. The drinks didn't arrive until 30 minutes later, and while we placed our orders for appetizers and main courses, we didn’t receive our appetizers until 5:45. The food finally came out after 6:00. Additionally, we had to remind our server to clear away our dirty plates each time we finished a course.

This place is fantastic! It's a beautifully decorated motel with an attached restaurant located in a remote area. The restaurant is situated at the intersection of Smith Creek and the Potomac River, offering plenty of outdoor dining options. The staff is accommodating; they'll even light a fire pit for you on the small beach while you enjoy the sunset. With a westward view, the sunsets are truly breathtaking. The menu, featuring Maryland seafood, is nearly flawless. I had the best cream of crab and roasted corn soup here that I've ever tasted!

Only stopped by for drinks but others were eating and the food looked yummy. The drinks were also good. They had a special cocktail menu with many interesting drinks. We sat outside in comfortable Adirondack chairs as we watched the sun setting. It was relaxing and beautiful at the same time. What more could you ask for. Great atmosphere. Next time I will stay for the food for sure.

Food was great, crab balls and hush puppies came out QUICK waited 50 minutes for our main brunch (french toast and eggs Benedict) and they weren't pack but... was WORTH IT. First time and we'll be back. **** marys and mimosas were great, service was great. Seating is very nice and comfortable inside, looks very clean. We very much enjoyed our experience and will come back. It looks like this would be a GREAT place to hang on friday or saturday nights too! I recommend
