Dragon Boat Fusion Cuisine

Located about 17 miles north of downtown, this restaurant is worth fighting the horrendous Toronto traffic to try their outstanding dim-sum. One can tell if a dim-sum restaurant is truly great or not by the variety and innovativeness of the dishes. Dragon does not disappoint, with dim-sum varieties such as shrimp and pea leaves rice roll and almond crusted shrimp balls. The restaurant opens at 8am each day, and if you arrive at 9, expect to wait for an hour or more. I've known people who would arrive at 8:15a to make sure they could get a large table.

We were referred here for Dim sum. Wow, we ordered 200% more than we could eat just to try as much as possible. Huge portions and all delicious. Har Gow and Sui mai was excellent. The spring rolls were jammed with pork and shrimp and were great. BBQ pork buns were main lined and they arrived last, after swore 'too full'. Definitely would revisit. Not anything like the crowd going into Times Square and definitely a happening place The parking is a bit of a challenge. Waited 30 minutes to get a table. Well worth the wait. Took home the overage and will enjoy again.

The food are excellent but you need to expect to wait for an hour or even longer for a table during the peak hours. Even you have reservation, you still have to wait. The best it to go there during the off hours. The services is very good and price performance is very good. The presentation of the dishes is excellent too.

Very popular for dim sum. Long wait even on weekdays if you don't arrive within half hour of opening. Variety and tasty. Dishes tend to be rather large. The beef meatball dish comes with 4 large balls and it is one of the cheapest item on the menu. Barbecue items are not available till after 11am but you can still order roast duck or barbecue pork rice rolls. Try the items listed as 'must eat'.

If you think of Chinese meal, here can help you to enjoy chinese food esp cantonese style. Dim sum here is delicious and vary. Bbq pork Cha siu is delicious if compare to many other restaurant in this area. Many customer in lunch time. Foods not that cheap but taste good.
