Lou's Cafe - Richm

I had the croissant sandwich with scrambled eggs instead of fried, soooo good. The server was very nice pleasant. Food was AMAZING, everyone loved everything they had. We ate until we literally could not eat anymore.

I'm sorry but I did not see what was so great about Lulu's. I had the Florentine Benedict with Ham. It was so salty it was almost inedible. Also the home fries on the side were extremely salty. The cocktail was fine. A lavender mimosa for Mother's Day, but nothing special. The service was good and they modified my friends meal to her requests, which we appreciated. Anyway, with all the hype Lulu's gets I expected to be wowed and it was meh.

Big disappointment based on other reviews. “Homemade biscuits” were tough and we couldn't even cut them. Potatoes were so spicy , they were hard to eat. Waitress was sweet, but the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other or her. Overall, we won't be returning. The only thing we enjoyed was the bacon.

The food was really delicious and the peach mimosa was amazing. The breakfast potatoes were extremely spicy, I feel like they should be labeled as spicy. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

It was too loud in there the music was blasting you have to literally yell to have a conversation at the table Service was slow and we understand it was busy but they were slow. Meat options are only pork
