Amazing place with amazing view with amazing staff with amazing food. Fish meat sea food. Don't miss it.

We went dining with friends on Saturday night at Espelho Do Mar O Arado. The main dining room of the restaurant has a stunning view over Montemor and the countryside. We had some starters which came in small portions for a table of five, a santola recheada, sandwich with veal, some fried octopus and migas with tiger shrimps. They offer local cuisine, quite average and nothing special, but tending to be somewhat heavy. The service was friendly and attentive. It’s not expensive some 25 EUR par person all in.

When you arrive at the restaurant you will be overwhelmed by the beautiful view and think: We relly nailed it! This is the place to be! but soon that feeling will disappear while you will still be waiting for your food for 1h15 minutes without anyone ever warning you about the delay in the kitchen or advising you to eat some starters while waiting. When it comes to the food: the fried octopus was great and the migas too, but the Segredos were not that well seasoned, thus blunt. After 2 hours sitting there we only wanted to leave, which means the experience was poor and we wouldn 't come back anytime soon.

O bar fica dentro do shopping, mas você também pode comer nas mesas externas. Bom serviço, muitos pratos para escolher, preços muito acessíveis. Eu sinceramente recomendo.
