Ribble Valley Hog Roast

We had meetings with Debbie, who appeared to be professional so we decided to hire her for our entire catering and bar service for our wedding. However, on the day of the event, we encountered numerous issues. Debbie was supposed to provide table cloths, crockery, and cutlery, and set up the day before. When we contacted her, she simply said she was too busy and would come the next day. As a result, we had to borrow table cloths/bedsheets from a friend. When Debbie arrived, she was disheveled, disorganized, and rude to me, the bride. She did not provide the all-day tea and coffee that we requested, nor did she have a stocked bar with ice and bar staff. Our guests, DJ, and Marquee man had to assist her in getting organized, and we had to send guests out to buy drinks for the kids that she was supposed to supply. The afternoon tea consisted of dry sandwiches with stale crusts, and there was no butter or cream for the scones. Debbie promised crockery, cutlery, and glasses for a toast, but we only received a spoon, knife, a chipped teacup, and a side plate that my guests had to help set up. During the evening buffet, guests were questioned and told they had already had enough when they went up for seconds. This experience greatly impacted our day and left me feeling extremely upset after a year of planning and spending a significant amount of money with Debbie. If you choose to work with her, make sure to get everything confirmed in writing as Debbie proved to be unreliable.

I was extremely impressed by the amazing service I received from Ribble Valley Hog Roasts. They were professional and accommodating from the start, exceeding our expectations to meet our needs. The paella they provided for my 40th birthday party was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. The assortment of salads and breads that came with it were a great complement. The service was impeccable and all of my guests were impressed by the high quality of the food. I would definitely book them again for our next event without hesitation.

We had a fantastic family celebration this year with milestone birthdays for multiple family members. Debbie from Ribble Valley Hog Roast provided us with delicious gourmet burgers, chilli con carne, chicken burgers, and homemade fries cooked fresh on site for over 250 people. The food was professionally served by friendly staff and Debbie was in regular contact with us leading up to the event to help coordinate everything. She even suggested and organized additional entertainment like a walkabout magician and a cork shootout booth. Debbie and her team made sure our event was completely stress-free and our guests had a wonderful time. We will definitely be using Ribble Valley Hog Roast for our future parties.

My wife and I ordered the Hog Roast for our evening reception. I was really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. The hog was cooked beautifully and went down a storm with all guests. The staff were friendly and helpful and very professional and I would certainly use them again and recommend them.

Brilliant service from the Ribble Valley Hog Roast team at our 50th Birthday party. We had Paella for 60 people throughout the night the food, always brilliantly tasty, available with no wait on cooking times and more than enough for everyone. Very impressed and looking forward to the next one!
