Dil Raj - Ribble Valley

We have visited this restaurant a few times and overall enjoyed our experiences. However, this review is specifically about their takeaway service. Unfortunately, it was the worst Indian meal we have ever had. The poppadoms were stale, we ordered two cups of onion salad but only one arrived along with other sauces that were not ordered. The cucumber raita was terrible, as I make a much better one at home. The prawn Puri and chicken chat were bland, and the Bombay aloo was only warm and lacking in flavor. To top it off, there was an item delivered that we did not order and had no idea what it was. Overall, it was a truly disappointing experience. We will not be ordering from here again, nor will we be returning to dine at the restaurant.

Absolutely terrible experience. We placed an order through their app at 5:45, but after two hours of waiting and calling, we were told our food was on the way. We then received a call from one of their delivery drivers demanding an extra £10 on top of what we had already paid through the app in order to deliver the food. When we refused, the driver became extremely rude and we had to hang up. After another 30 minutes of waiting, we called again to be told we lived too far away from the restaurant (only 3 miles) and that the food would be delivered "eventually." We expressed our frustration at their unprofessional behavior and were promised a delivery within half an hour. It is now 9pm and we have yet to receive our order. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed. The food was cold and some items were missing. When we contacted the restaurant, we were told that the manager could issue a refund for the missing items. This was a surprise, but not a pleasant one. I will not be ordering from here again. The prices have gone up, the portions are smaller, and the service was pathetic.

Always order our take outs from here, just recently they have been getting worse! Tonight was the worst, sloppy and certainly not up to standard Never again!!!

We had our first takeaway from here and it was delicious, really fresh with lots of veggies and herbs. Really friendly and prompt service and great atmosphere at the restaurant when we called to pick it up. They took care with my dairy intolerance and even phoned me back to explain what dishes had dairy and replacement suggestions. We will be back !!
