フィードバックを提供するThe weeping costs $15 for the tasting of 6 weeping. this fee is discarded when they buy 2 bottles, so we had one to share at the place together with a cheese platter. beautiful weather to do this, and it was nice to have something wein to keep us warm with the strong winds. the children had fun rolling up on the grass. it is a little weingut, but all they need from wein to cheese and toilets were super clean. can not comment much to the weeping as I am not a knower, but the ambiente and the weather made it safe.
We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, had our Covid vaccination certificates checked, and then were seated at our table where we were given recommendations on what to try. We opted for some dishes we had never tried before as well as some old favorites. The server was incredibly kind and helpful.
Beautiful small family owned and operated wine cellar door. super friendly service. tasting takes place both inside and outside (under deck). there is a beautiful large rasen area with tables too much space for children walking around. they also offer a...lovely selection of cheeseboards and wood products. when we left that we saw a purple (swamp) hen!
Incredible service, delicious weeping and beautiful view. we have dipped on Monday and received the first-class service. highly recommended, especially on a weekday to avoid the weighing masses.
This has long been a local favourite of mine. I always bring visitors and have spent many hours here enjoying the wine and the view. Today the wine was still good as was the view, but they have had a policy change. On many previous...occasions we have tried a few wines and then decided on which to buy. We tasted then ordered food and wine and when I paid I was told that there was now a $15/head charge for tasting. There is no advance notification of this, nothing on the tasting list, nothing on the web site. I understand that this is not abnormal, just think that it should be advised upfront. Frankly I was still cool about it until I gave feedback to the woman who cleared my table. She had a total lack of empathy arrogantly explaining that this was because of Covid, not handled well at all. I really think that they would be better off lifting all prices to take care of any increase in costs due to Covid but this is their decision of course. By all means charge for tasting, but you really should tell your customers up front.
