White Stag Inn - RHINELANDER

Great steaks. The White Stag Inn has consistently good service and good food. The steaks are high quality and perfectly cooked. The salads are pure dinner club! Great bar, great food and great service. What is not to like!

Nothing extravagent, but good. Someone could consider this place a bit pricey. However, I believe the quality of food helps make it worth it. The food is simple, but delicious. I have visited the White Stag Inn at a variety of times throughout the year with one person, myself, at the table to six people always receiving the same service and food quality. The gentleman preparing the meats does a good job insuring your choice of doneness. Their homemade salad dressings make up for the wedges of iceberg lettuce.

Do not miss this restaurant. A year a go, the wife and I toured northern Wisconsin. Having lived there in the past we wanted to return to Gods country. We ate at the White Stag, had the best steak ever and their homemade Russian dressing is to die for.........as are their Brandy Old Fashioned cocktails at the bar. An oustanding evening meal.

30 years and counting!. We've been going to White Stag for as long as I remember. My parents had their rehearsal dinner here 30+ years ago, and the food has kept them coming back consistently since then. Why mess with a good thing? Straightforward salad consisted of wedges of full heads of lettuce and three made-to-mix-and-match homemade dressings. The entrees are impeccable: I've enjoyed everything I've tried there, but I'm hooked on the steaks! You can order sides of grilled onion and mushrooms; it's enough to share! My favorite is the En Brochette, hands down. Try out White Stag and pick your favorite too! I know your mouth will be watering for more.

What a great supper club in the Northwoods. This place is beautiful inside and out. Great food the salad and steak were great. The dressings for the salad are excellent. They also make a very good brandy old fashioned. Service was very nice and served quickly. If you're into supper clubs don't miss this one.
